Wirral Folk on the Coast boasts five main stage concerts will take place in the spacious concert hall with mini concerts and other events taking place in the Oak Room. A large set of fringe events, many of them free, will take place in the main building and in two small marquees. These will include - a Ceilidh dance, Mini concerts, Instrument workshops, Chance to meet the artistes, Singalong, Sinaround, Poetry and Songwriting sessions.
FESTIVAL VENUE
Join Wirral Folk on the Coast at their all-on-one-site friendly festival at - Whitby Sports & Social Club - with real ale and good food being served. The festival site is only 5 minutes drive from Junctions 7 and 10 of the M53 motorway.
NEW CAMPING AND CARAVAN AREA
In 2013 there will have access to well-drained fields to the rear of the premises. Access is from Dunkirk Lane side gates. The site is surrounded by high fencing and has portaloos and inside showers and toilets.
Hard-standing will be available for motorhomes and large caravans together with camping on the field. The campsite backs onto Stanney Woods, ideal for dog-walking. Access to the campsite is from 4.00pm on Thursday 6th June 2013
