The summer solstice weekend of 2013 will see another eclectic gaggle of acts appearing at the Willowman festival.

First to be announced is the Orb Soundsystem who will be performing on Friday the 21st of June at Willowman.

Headed up by dance music pioneer Alex Patterson, the Orb Soundsystem will offer a rare treat to fans of intelligent electronic beats.

New Model Army will be making the short journey from their native Bradford to grace the main Willowman stage. Drawing on diverse influences which include punk and Northern Soul, the army are sure to bring a contingent of their famously loyal fan base to mingle with the Willowman masses.

Welsh based electro punk rockers Sicknote have also been contracted to spread their irreverent post watershed views at this North Yorkshire event.

Festival Stalwarts, Radical Dance Faction will be performing their new album at Willowman and promise to get the masses moving with their unique blend of Rap, Reggae and dance.

For those looking for something more Genteel, the hotly tipped Syd Arthur will delight the audience with his Canterbury inspired melodic guitar playing.

Steve Williams event organiser said ”We are very enthusiastic about our initial bookings for the fourth Willowman festival, we are aiming to offer our fans a mix of veteran and breakthrough artists. Willowman is an all age’s event and our line up aims to reflect this”.

Other confirmed acts include Symphonic Pictures, Collectors Club, Flutatious, Rosie, Driven Serious, Annie Dressner, Little fire.

The 2013 Willowman festival will take place at Hillside Rural Activities Park near the town of Northallerton. The three day event will run over the summer solstice weekend from the 20th to the 23rd of June.
