Ben & Jerrys Hit High Note With Tweet Moosical

Festival Crowd Header

Hold onto your hooves and get dressed in your best cow print onesy, because Ben & Jerry’s is holding the first ever Tweet Musical to celebrate 35 years in business!

‘Moosical’ will give the public not only a taste of Ben and Jerry’s incredible ice cream but also the amazing story of how the fun-loving duo grew the brand from a single scoop shop in Vermont to what it is today.

With history as rich as its ice cream, Ben & Jerry’s will be taking the audience on a trip down memory lane, led by improvisational talent, Abandoman, winner of Hackney Empire New Act of the Year, the Musical Comedy Awards and the 2012 Adelaide Fringe Festival’s Best Comedy Newcomer Award, and one of the most original and brightest comedians on the circuit, Lloyd Griffiths.

Together they will take the audience on a musical journey, narrating some of the craziest stories from back in the day, from trucks breaking down to lost pretzel dreams,  to the Social Mission values of the company, using audience interaction and social media tweets to help shape the performance.

While Abandoman creates hilarious freestyle songs at lightning speed, Lloyd will be acting as ‘tweetmaster’, feeding into the show audience suggestions, making the specatacle the first ever Tweet musical, and bringing the audience on stage to tread the boards with the cows!

The Moosical will take place over two nights on the 8th and 9th of May at the Rich Mix theatre in London.

Space is very limited and attendees have to have a ticket. More tickets will be released on the Ben & Jerry’s Facebook page in the next few days so for your chance to grab one for free, make sure you keep an eye out on the page and Twitter @benandJjerrysUK.”
