The North West’s unique boutique forestival; Wonderwood will be taking a trip to Valiants Farm in Preston this Summer presenting Wonderwood on the Farm on Saturday 24th July 2021.
The 5,000 capacity former equestrian centre located just 20 minutes from Blackpool and just 40 minutes away from the original Witton Woods location, will see Wonderwood transform the site into a boutique one day festival experience with two main stage areas, an exclusive VIP as well as a host of festival stalls and attractions and will feature the who’s who of the house and bass music scene right now with a host of acts already announced.
Already announced to head up the House stage we welcome none other than Sonny Fodera;. The revered DJ / Producer & Remixer, who wowed crowds back in 2019 and just completed a sold out UK tour for his new album ‘Rise’, will bring his thrilling style of authentic house music to Wonderwood on the Farm on Saturday 24th July. A pacesetter in his own right and a citadel of bouncy, assertive grooves, Fodera observes crowds and converses with the dance-floor with an air of someone who has seen it and done it all.
Joining Sonny Fodera we welcome special guest Hannah Wants who is without a doubt one of the brightest stars on the electronic music scene with a loyal fanbase - not to mention a super busy DJ diary that continues to develop and flourish on a worldwide scale. Since winning Mixmag’s Best Breakthrough DJ Award in 2014, Best DJ at the Bass Music Awards in 2015 and an iconic Mixmag cover in 2015 that ended up being the best-selling issue of the entire year, Hannah has quickly risen to the top tier of electronic music, with a slew of tracks signed to the likes of Food, Dirtybird, Toolroom and Virgin, a chart-chomping smash in ‘Rhymes’ and a Radio 1 residency;
Next up, without a doubt one of the most vital and influential house music artists of the present day; Low Steppa, will also be taking to the decks at the summer-time festival. For many years Low Steppa has been producing some of the finest house and bass music around and touring the globe and remains very much at the forefront of the electronic dance music scene.
Rounding up the House stage, we bring you Endor, who was responsible for the huge remix of “Pump It Up’ which shot up dance music charts all over the world and House & techno duo Pax.
Fans of all things Drum & Bass will be hyped to see world famous DJ and Producer Andy C heading up the Bass stage on Saturday 24th July 2021. Without a shadow of a doubt, he is one of the most iconic figures in dance music culture and a pioneering Drum and Bass DJ since the genre's emergence in the early '90s, he has consistently been voted World's Greatest Drum and Bass DJ. One of his most successful tracks is his remix of Major Lazers ‘Get Free’ amongst a massive back catalogue of others. We look forward to welcoming him to Valiants Farm this summer.
Fans can also expect a full assault of Bass driven beats when, following their highly successful takeover at the 2019 debut Wonderwood event, we welcome Bass Music label Crucast to the decks. With hard hitting bass DJs Skepsis, Darkzy, TS7, Kanine, Lazcru & Zero taking to the Bass Stage for the Cricast Takeover at Valiants Farm alongside lyrical masters MC’s Window Kid, Bru-C & MC AD. We’ve absolutely no doubt that they will once again have the Wnderwood crowd going absolutely wild.
Macky Gee has also just been announced to take to the Bass Stage at the unique farmland location. The Kent based Drum and Bass don has enjoyed huge success since beginning his DJing and Producing career at the young age of 16. His heavy bassline and choppy synth combinations have resulted in huge support from Radio 1, Radio 1Extra, Kiss FM and Rinse FM, and his huge 2016 album ‘Sway’ made it into the Official Top 20 charts in both the UK and Europe. Macky is also one part of one of the biggest acts in DnB right now, SaSaSaS, who have been causing a major storm in the festival world and selling out club shows across Europe. He is sure to have the entire Wonderwood crowd going wild during his set, which is definitely not to be missed.
Support acts have yet to be announced for the debut event at the Valiants Farm Location, but Wonderwood on the Farm is already shaping up to be an unmissable boutique festival experience.
