Essential Ibiza is the creation of Ibiza legend Charlie Chester, Jo Mills, Nic Jauncy, and editor of Electronica Magazine and Tillate Magazine Iain Thomson. It's born out of a collective love of the island and from a frustration with the fact that no website exists as a "best mate's" guide to the island, covering all aspects of Ibiza and bringing together the people who visit the island with the people who make it tick - the club owners, club brand owners, promoters, restaurateurs, bar owners, hoteliers, shop owners and island characters.
Our journalists will be on the island throughout the year covering events before, during, and after they happen. Our news pages will be plugged directly into our club ticket system allowing our users to buy tickets to the event they are reading about there and then. What’s more, Essential Ibiza has teamed up with some key media outlets to ensure maximum exposure in 2012. These include…
• Ugroove.tv with whom we have created Essential TV. Throughout the summer we will be covering key events and carrying out interviews with key players, all of which will be hosted on essentialibiza and multiple additional online video channels.
• Pacha and its VIP iPhone app. EssentialIbiza provide all guide content, news, and event listing info for the app as well as looking after the commercial elements in the form of ticket and merchandise sales.
• Tilllate Magazine, which has a worldwide appeal as well as being huge in Ibiza, also brings all the Ibiza news as it happens.
There is now a detailed "Ibiza Clubs" arena on our site that will let people promote themselves in a unique way by providing club details, history, statistics, famous moments, features, VIP and merchandise sales and much more, and so too there is a “DJ Arenas” overview, fact box, interview and links to their online social networking profiles. Just to add we also have the ability to buy club tickets at events they are playing.
We have fully functioning, bespoke club tickets system. We ensure that our club tickets system sits at the top of the search engines for all relevant club ticket searches, be they by date, by club name, by party name, or by DJ.
Some other new developments include i360 virtual tours, which means you the user can feel that they are actually standing inside and maneuvering through the villa they are interested in booking!
