Nero

Arguably the most talked about Dub-step act currently residing in British music, Nero, have just been announced to play alongside Chase and Status add a host of newly added artist's at this years UKF Base Culture in London's Alexandra Palace.

Since the announcement that UKF Bass Culture is to hold court at London’s mighty Alexandra Palace on Friday 25th November, the response has been nothing short of phenomenal. All Early Bird and Saver tickets have already completely sold out, having revealed just a fraction of the lineup.

All roads point towards a massive advanced sell out and with some of the biggest names in bass music now ready to claim their place, the remaining tickets won’t be around for long! So without any further hesitation here are the latest names who will be joining us in November alongside Chase & Status [Live], DJ Fresh [Live], Zane Lowe, Mistajam, Flux Pavilion, Doctor P, Funtcase and Roksonix across three colossal stages.

An incredible summer obliterating Europe’s leading festivals, topped off by storming all the way to number 1 in the UK singles and album charts, has resulted in Nero becoming arguably the most talked about act currently residing in British music. The recent success of Nero’s singles ‘Me and You’, ‘Act Like You Know’ and ‘Promises’ demonstrate what an exciting couple of years the band has had.  With an ability to fuse drum and bass and dubstep to devastating consequences, Nero will deliver a full live set when they take to the Main Stage at UKF Bass Culture.

Pendulum duo Rob Swire and Gareth McGrille’s new under the radar project Knife Party will also join us at Alexandra Palace. Having remixed Swedish House Mafia’s ‘Save The World’, Knife Party have received huge critical acclaim from the likes of Zane Lowe, whilst their appearance alongside Deadmau5 at Ibiza’s legendary Space this summer has proved what a sure fire hit Knife Party is expected to be. Choosing a different path to the drum and bass vibes of Pendulum, Knife Party will hinge primarily on an electronic house sound that is sure to take club land by storm. With their debut EP expected later this year, don’t miss electronic music’s latest sensation at UKF Bass Culture.

At UKF Bass Culture, Modestep will perform live, creating a unique experience that astonishes and overwhelms their audience and results in an explosive atmosphere. By combining live DJing and remixing, drum and synth solo's, live visuals and infectious vocals, Modestep do it live like no other. Having performed alongside the likes of Pendulum, 16Bit, Skrillex, Doctor P, Funtcase, Doorly, Annie Mac, Andy C, High Contrast and many others, Modestep’s diary is now at bursting point with large capacity events in the USA, Canada, Belgium, Holland, Brussels and Estonia all on the horizon.

Feed Me arrives at UKF Bass Culture to play his first ever live show in the UK. Launched into the public eye after releasing music on Deadmau5’s Mau5trap label, Feed Me’s hard-hitting electro has turned many a head across the world.

Born to grime and adopted by dubstep, Joker refuses to be tagged having burst onto the scene in 2008 with the vibrant ‘Grimey Princess’ and ‘Gully Brook Lane’. His productions possess a rare duality in that they are both instantly identifiable yet impossible to classify.  Another superb addition to the UKF Bass Culture bill, Joker will show exactly why his productions are battered by DJs including Appleblim, Pinch, Plastician and Rustie and why he is considered one of dubstep’s greatest talents.

At just 21 years of age, Gemini has received massive acclaim from both the critics and the dancefloor. Combining his skill as an accomplished piano player with emotional synths, apocalyptic bass drops and futuristic beat patterns, Gemini’s music is intense but always melodic, aggressive and somehow uplifting. Treading a delicate path through classical composition and bass heavy chaos, it is hard to believe that the rest of the scene had failed to take advantage of the amazing fusion between light and dark that infuses Gemini’s music.
