Standon Calling Reveals Story for 2016

Festival Crowd Header

Standon Calling has unveiled Legend of the Lost Seas as the story for 2016 at a special launch party at Vault Festival over the weekend.

Taking place in Hertfordshire, 29th - 31st July, Standon Calling invites revellers on a adventure that will unfold over three days for its most ambitious concept yet.

Fresh from announcing a myriad of heavyweight talent for 2016 including Suede, Jess Glynne, Kelis, Everything Everything, The Hives and more last week, Standon Calling took over the The Vaults beneath Waterloo in London at Vault Festival to host a special launch party on Saturday 5th March. Peluché, Tangerines, Bella Figura and Savage Disco (Sink The Pink’s naughty little sister) joined in for the celebrations, where revellers were given an exclusive first glimpse of an exciting narrative set to take over the three-day festival - Legend Of The Lost Seas. Each year Standon Calling has raised the bar with its themes that stretch beyond the confines of fancy dress to set design, production, entertainment, actors and more. Past themes have included ‘Murder on the Standon Express’, ‘Running Away from the Circus’ and ‘A Town of Two Faces’.
