This year’s Hard Rock Stage line up of 30 awesome acts includes Starsailor’s James Walsh, singer-songwriter Ben Montague, Laurence Fox whose debut album ‘Holding Patterns’ is out now, country singer Lucy May, duo Daughters of Davis, rock n roll brothers from Glasgow The River 68’s, indie folk rockers King Eider, singer songwriter Andrea Riso and much more. Also taking to the stage will be the winning act of Hard Rock Rising – the world’s largest one-day music showcase. They will join this year’s Isle of Wight Festival headline acts Queen + Adam Lambert, The Who, Stereophonics, Faithless and more at the iconic music festival.

With music at the heart of Hard Rock, it continues to support talented breakthrough artists, offering the Hard Rock Stage, curated by Hard Rock and The Isle of Wight Festival, as a platform to get the freshest new music out there. The Isle of Wight Festival takes place from 9 – 12 June at Seaclose Park, Newport. From Main Stage headliners, acoustic sets, DJ performances and up-and-coming talent, alongside a huge variety of additional entertainment and activities, there’s something for everyone.

Marc Carey, Hard Rock European Director of Marketing said: “We can’t wait to be back for our third year at The Isle of Wight Festival 2016. This is the festival that truly kicks off the summer season and we’re thrilled that we continue to be a part it. The Hard Rock Stage promises fresh, new music which is something Hard Rock has always been incredibly passionate about. Our past two years at Isle of Wight Festival have seen an overwhelmingly positive reception and it’s so exciting to be bringing more rising stars to the Hard Rock Stage this summer!”

Isle of Wight Festival promoter John Giddings commented: "Hard Rock are our perfect partner - they give new upcoming bands a boost in their early days, give them support across all of their platforms - with a couple of familiar regulars in the mix!"
