Josh T Pearson unveils acoustic video and UK Tour

To celebrate the release of his single 'Sorry With a Song' Josh T.Pearson has unveiled an acoustic video performance of 'Country Dumb' taken from his debut album 'Last Of The Country Gentlemen'

Originally from Texas, Josh T. Pearson formed the short-lived phenomenon that was Lift to Experience, who released one sprawling masterpiece, 2001's 'The Texas-Jerusalem Crossroads', before splitting up soon after. So beloved by John Peel were they that he had them record three sessions in five months and were included in the Best 125 Peel Sessions of alltime.

Since then, Josh T. Pearson has spent many years in the wilderness, only releasing one studio recording, 'I'm So Lonesome I Could Cry', a split 7" single with the Dirty Three and appearing on the Mercury Prize nominated Bat for Lashes album 'Fur and Gold'.

Released earlier this year, 'Last Of The Country Gentlemen' is an epic collection of seven songs, the majority of which clock in over 10 minutes long, drawn from the lessons of what Josh himself describes as "a rough year".

Josh is set to play a very special one off show at the Barbican on 26th November alongside a line up of special guests and friends which will be announced nearer the date. In the run up to this he'll also play a handful of solo shows across the UK:

Mon 21 November / Manchester Royal Northern College Of Music
Tue 22 November / Glasgow Oran Mor
Wed 23 November / Leicester The Musician
Thu 24 November / Cardiff The Globe
Fri 25 November / Exeter Phoenix
Sat 26 November / London The Barbican Hall
