Terrorvision

LeeStock Music Festival, located in Suffolk, today announced the Lightning Seeds and an acoustic set from Terrorvision as their 2014 headline acts.

The festival, which is in its 7th year and is held in memory of the organisers' friend Lee Dunford is situated in the grounds of Melford Hall, a Tudor built National Trust property.  Profits from the festival are donated to the Willow Foundation, a national charity who give special days to seriously ill young adults.  This year's festival will take place on Saturday 24th and Sunday 25th May.

The Saturday of the festival will see the Lightning Seeds, who over their successful career have had 3 top 20 albums and 14 top forty hits, headlining the main stage.  Fronted by the iconic Ian Broudie, the Lightning Seeds achieved hit after hit throughout the 90s including "Pure", "The Life of Riley", "Lucky You" and the football themed number 1 collaboration with Baddiel and Skinner "Three Lions".  Ian Broudie said of his appearance at the festival; "We're looking forward to playing LeeStock, it sounds a great little festival with a great cause.  We love playing in front of a live audience and we're looking forward to coming to Suffolk in May"

Terrorvision formed in 1987 and found major success in the mid 90s with their hit albums "How to Make Friends and Influence People" and "Regular Urban Survivors".  The two albums spawned 9 top 40 singles including "Oblivion", "Perserverance" and were followed by the anthem "Tequila", their biggest hit reaching number 2 in the UK charts.  An acoustic set by the band will close LeeStock festival on the Sunday, following in the footsteps of Cast's John Power in 2013.  Previous headliners at the charity based event include Wheatus, Toploader, Dodgy and Space.

Edd Keogh, organiser of the festival said he was delighted to have two such big acts headlining the festival. "In a World Cup year, to have Ian Broudie who is synonymous with the Match of the Day goal of the month theme (The Life of Riley) and of course "Three Lions" will be perfect.  It will create such a buzz to have them here just weeks before the World Cup."  On Terrorvision's involvement, it was something that had been in the offing for a couple of years.  "We have spoken to Terrorvision a couple of times as they were always a band we thought would go really well with our festival audience so we're delighted to have got them for 2014.  Hopefully we can raise even more much needed funds for such an excellent charity in the Willow Foundation, whilst putting on a great event and remembering Lee".
