Due to overwhelming demand, R&B superstar Trey Songz has added a third London show to his 2013 UK tour.

Due to overwhelming demand, R&B superstar Trey Songz has added a third London show to his UK tour, along with newly announced shows in Leeds and Newcastle. Tickets for London priced at £35 & £30 go on sale today (Wednesday 7th November) at 9am, with Leeds and Newcastle tickets priced at £27.50 (all subject to booking fee) available from 9am on Friday 9th November.

CHAPTER V is Trey Songz fifth studio album now availablevia Atlantic Records.  It features his brilliant single – ‘Simply Amazing’, which perfectly showcases vocal range as he expresses eternal love for his woman despite, and maybe because of, her imperfections. Produced by longtime friend and production partner - Troy Taylor (Whitney Houston, Aretha Franklin, Stevie Wonder), the track enjoyed massive radio support including an A – listing at Radio 1 and Choice FM, B – listing at 1Xtra and Capital and a Kiss FM playlist. The album also features the Petersburg, VA-bred singer’s first UK Top 30 hit - ‘Heart Attack,’ which he performed live at the Radio 1 Hackney Weekender in June.

CHAPTER V is the follow-up to 2010 RIAA Gold-Certified - PASSION, PAIN & PLEASURE, and the previous LP’s before that - READY, TREY DAY and his debut I GOTTA MAKE IT. These records make up the chapters that tell the story of Trey Songz, a classic saga of taking a dream and making the impossible possible.  His story is one of determination, faith, struggle, hard work and inspiration and with each chapter, Trey has held onto the best parts of what he offered previously, while continuously raising the bar and creating original and ground-breaking, yet classic, R&B music.

For this new chapter in his career, Trey Songz has teamed up with the upper echelon of producers ranging from Troy Taylor to Benny Blanco (Nicki Minaj, Sean Paul, Katy Perry), Eric Hudson (Kanye West, Ne Yo, Mary J Blige) and Rico Love (Beyonce, Usher, Rick Ross). Guests on the album include T.I., Lil Wayne, Young Jeezy, Rick Ross, Diddy and Meek Mill. In addition to this, his younger brother, Alex is responsible for the production on ‘Don’t Be Scared’ “I’m excited for him to have that first moment because I remember all of my firsts in the music industry. The first time seeing my name in the credits and now having our names beside each other,” Trey says of having his brother be a part of CHAPTER V. “It’s something I’m very proud of.”

The late Ahmet Ertegun, founder of Atlantic Records, once professed Trey to be “among the most promising R&B artists we have had on Atlantic since we started the company 60 years ago.” Since then, Trey has become one of R&B’s brightest stars. He has used his gift of music as the launching pad to various philanthropic and entrepreneurial endeavours such as the Angels With A Heart Foundation, a worldwide movement calling to action members of his fan club to have a positive impact in their neighbourhoods through community service with local charities. Last year, this successfully came into effect with a special event put on at London’s City Hall with broadcaster BET International and The Damilola Taylor Trust.

Now - after selling a combined 14 million albums and singles worldwide, travelling the world on countless international tours, receiving a string of Grammy nominations, meeting President Barack Obama, Trey Songz has a lot to write about. And he has presented what may be the most intimate and important chapter he’s ever written… CHAPTER V.
