The band feature in the Best Live Act and Best Group categories, with their second album 'Babel' nominated for ‘Best Album’.

It equals the same number of nominations that Mumford & Sons received at the Brit Awards 2011 where they won ‘British Album of the Year’ for their debut LP, 'Sigh No More'.

Since its release in late September 2012, 'Babel' has now sold over two million albums globally, and achieved double platinum status in the UK.

In addition to their Brit Award nominations, Mumford & Sons are shortlisted for six Grammy Awards, with the ceremony taking place in Los Angeles on 10th February, ahead of the Brit Awards on 20th February.

Mumford & Sons release a new single, 'Whispers In The Dark', on the 11th March through Gentlemen of the Road/Island Records.
