Colours presents the OFFICIAL after party for ‘ECSTASY’, the new film based on the #1 book by Irvine Welsh the author of ‘Trainspotting’.

ECSTASY is a dark romantic comedy, based on the controversial book, “Ecstasy”, by Irvine Welsh. “Ecstasy”, was translated into 20 languages and was a number one bestseller in over 20 countries. Mr. Welsh’s first book, “Trainspotting”, published in 1993, (and voted by Waterstone, Europe’s largest bookstore chain, as one of the Ten Best Books of the Century), sold over 1 million copies in the UK alone, and has its own Cinematic Cinderella success story.

The Arches is the venue for the official after party of the movie premiere (which premiers at the Glasgow International Film Festival), the cast and Irvine Welsh himself will be attending the event. The world’s top DJs have all graced the decks at this legendary Scottish nightclub, so make sure you come along and feel the vibe that oozes from its walls. Let the DJs take you away to a place of “Ecstasy”.  The event will showcase stills from the movie and Neil Navarra, the film’s musical director, will be playing some of the soundtrack from the movie within his DJ set.  If you plan on seeing this movie (which we highly recommend you do), then this is one event that you need to attend to give you the full ‘Ecstasy’ experience.
