2020 will mark the 10th anniversary edition of the FOCUS Wales international showcase festival in Wrexham, winner of Best Festival for Emerging Talent at the UK Festival Awards, and recently shortlisted for a European Festival Award.
The festival will see over 250+ acts from Wales and around the world descend upon Wrexham across 7th – 9th May.Today, FOCUS Wales announce frontman of The Charlatans, best-selling author, DJ, proprietor of Tim Peaks and solo artist TIM BURGESS. His latest solo album has been described as some of his best work by BBC 6Music. Also announced are THE JOY FORMIDABLE who will be returning to North Wales after touring the world, playing sold out shows of their own and supporting acts such as Foo Fighters on stadium tours. Making their debut in Wrexham, HENGE join the FOCUS Wales bill. Described by Louder Than War as "...a multicoloured, multi rhythmic, multiplied, multi-storey mass of total genius", the band promise an exciting live show. These acts join the likes of The Twilight Sad, Battles, Richard Hawley, Altin Gün, Gruff Rhys, Stealing Sheep, Flamingods, Lucy Spraggan and Catrin Finch & Sekou Keita, who have already been announced for the festival.

FOCUS Wales has become Wales’ biggest music industry event, with three days of panels, keynote talks, and industry advice, the festival will see over 400 music industry professionals descend upon Wrexham from around the world.
