8000 Music Fans Attended, Biggest crowd yet!

Festival Crowd Header

The festival season is in full swing and this weekend was Eden Festival’s turn, set in the stunning Raehill Meadows of Dumfries, Scotland.

This was Eden Festival’s 8th outing to a sell out crowd of 8,000 music fans. Year, on year, the festival just gets bigger and better with 11 stages of music, art, theatre and family fun, there’s something for everyone. Whether you have a creative bone in your body or not? You had a chance to perform at the Thunderdome Stage, paint in the arts tent, create in the family arena, play make believe in the forest area, or alternatively just sit back and soak in the entertainment in a safe, fun and relaxed environment.

Founder and Co-director Adam Curtis -

“I think the festival has been a resounding success, we have had a very good crowd this year, the atmosphere has been fantastic! There’s been a huge increase in young families attending which we very are happy to see, and we have had a great response to our young performers on the bandstands. Mr Motivator as always invigorated the crowd with his workout, and Morcheeba performed an amazing set on the main stage, followed by a fantastic firework display.”

Love was most certainly in the air too, as Tessa Brechin and Ben Gray from Mochrum, Wigtownshire had a surprise wedding on site watched on by happy festival goers. And the Dumfries and Galloway Choir planted a fertility tree in the Garden of Eden, with Eden Festival Founder and Co-Director Adam Curtis.
