The 14th annual Mouth of the Tyne Festival takes place this July across venues and locations throughout Tynemouth and Whitley Bay
The full music line-up for the festival is as follows. In addition there is a free admission jazz stage and other local music events over the weekend.

The festival also has a whole host of family-friendly activities on offer over the weekend. Theatre, performance, comedy, workshops, dance and circus are all included in the programme at Tynemouth Station as well as walkabout theatre and performance around the town.
For instance, a perfect fit for a misspent youth in a seaside town is the interactive ‘Actual Reality Arcade’ installation by artist Matthew Harrison, who reinvents classic arcade games such as Kong, Tetris and Asteroids.
Saturday sees the annual Big Pageant in Tynemouth when over 20 schools, community groups and young musicians join together for a colourful and fun costume parade through the town.
