Hardwick Festival celebrates its 10th Birthday this year. It is a hugely popular three-day family music event held from August 17-19 in the beautiful extensive grounds of Hardwick Hall (now an on-site hotel) near Sedgefield, Co. Durham. It is the largest greenfield festival in the Northeast of England with a capacity of 10,000 attracting many local people and many other regulars from around the country and beyond.
Besides the Main stage and Discovery stage, there are numerous small stages incorporating name DJs, brass bands and children’s programmes, plus a host of other attractions and activities.
Hardwick attracts star-studded headliners and a range of established, current and emerging artists from around the globe. There are dance arenas to get lost in music, a dedicated children’s area within the woods full of great entertainment, face painting, magic shows, ventriloquist shows, Punch & Judy & children’s workshops. There are also vintage fairground attractions.
The delicious array of food and drink on offer is a highlight. There is a huge choice of culinary delights from the many food stalls and an extensive range of refreshments such as real ale, Champagne cocktails, Hot chocolate and afternoon tea from dedicated covered bars.
With over 30 years’ experience in events and a passion for live music the Hardwick team are always learning, evolving and striving to make the festival better each year.
Hardwick Festival is where everyone one comes together from all walks of life for a memorable summer getaway be it superstars, urbanites, farmers, fashionistas, families or friends.
