Matchbox Twenty head to the O2 Shepherds Bush Empire in September with a new album on the way.
Currently lighting up the airwaves with their feverish new Radio 2 A listed single ‘She’s So Mean’, Matchbox Twenty head to the UK to play O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire on September 18th. Matchbox Twenty tickets go on-sale at 9am on Friday 17th August.The band are also gearing up for an eagerly anticipated show as part of the iTunes Festival at The Roundhouse September 19th.
The Florida four-piece – Rob Thomas, Paul Doucette, Kyle Cook and Brian Yale – unleash exhilarating new album ‘North’, September 3rd on Atlantic Records; their first album of all new material in ten years.
Written by the band – who have rekindled their relationship with Grammy Award winning producer Matt Serletic (Aerosmith, Santana, Willie Nelson) – highlights include the romantic ‘Overjoyed’ and the groove-laden ‘Put Your Hands Up’.
‘North’ follows the band’s most recent release, 2007’s ‘Exile On Mainstream’; a mixture of greatest hits and new tracks.
