CHAGSTOCK FESTIVAL organisers have announced the first bands to be confirmed for 2019, and to celebrate, they have put a limited number of Early Bird tickets on sale at cheaper than 2018 prices!
Friday night’s main stage headline act will be, From The Jam! The Jam had amazing chart success with 18 singles and 7 albums to make the top 40 in the United Kingdom from their debut in 1977 to their break up in 1982. Fronted by the Jam’s legendary Bassist Bruce Foxton, From The Jam will bring their unique punk / mod sound to the main stage on Friday, performing hits such as ‘That’s Entertainment’, ‘Going Underground’ and ‘Town Called Malice’
Supporting the Friday night headliners will be Mad Dog Mcrea; an extremely popular choice in our recent survey! Mad Dog Mcrea blend a unique mixture of folk rock, pop, gypsy jazz, bluegrass and ‘shake your ass’ music. From self-penned songs of adventure, drinking, love and life, to traditional songs of gypsies, fairies, legless pirates and black flies – Mad Dog never fail to capture their audience with their infectious songs.
Performing on the Marquee stage on Friday will be Holy Moly & the Crackers. 2017 and 2018 have been huge years for the ever-evolving folk-alt-rock group, led by vocalist Ruth Patterson. They released their album ‘Salem’ in July 2017 and its lead single, the barnstorming indie-rock anthem ‘Cold Comfort Lane’ was included on major Spotify playlists including Fresh Finds, Fierce Femmes & New Noise, and went on to be used by E4, Ultimate Ears, KIA Sportage Cars and the end credits track for the 2018 summer blockbuster movie, Oceans 8. Since then they have wowed audiences up and down the country with their high energy live show, and we cannot wait to welcome them to Chagstock 2019.

Taking place on Friday 19th and Saturday 20th July 2019, Chagstock will once again showcase the very finest music, food and entertainment from the Westcountry and beyond.
