Scouting For Girls to close 2017 festival

To celebrate a decade together as a band, Scouting For Girls will be playing some very special shows during 2017, including a very intimate gig at The Civic Hall in Cottingham on Sunday August 27th as part of Cottingham Folk Festival.

Since they burst onto the scene in 2007 with their unstoppable million selling debut album featuring classic tracks “It’s Not About You”, “She’s So Lovely”, “Elvis Ain’t Dead”, “Heartbeat” and “I Wish I Was James Bond”, the trio have gone from strength to strength.

From sold out tours to triple platinum sales, a series of hit singles and a triumphant Greatest Hits album, Scouting For Girls have evolved into one of the most popular bands on the circuit.

They will close the third Cottingham Folk Festival, taking place across the August Bank Holiday Weekend in the picturesque East Yorkshire village of Cottingham, near Hull. The musical extravaganza will see an incredible line-up of artists descend on what is thought to be the largest village in the UK, including the previously announced Red Hot Chilli Pipers, Lucy Spraggan, Scott Matthews and Jess and The Bandits.
