More bands announced for Butserfest 2013

Festival Crowd Header

Mallory Knox return to Butserfest in 2013 after their debut appearance last year. With a main stage R&L appearance on the cards as well it's not going to be long til MK are superstars.

Local New Forest boys Natives have been hard at work all year long, and we're very happy to be seeing them on our main stage at Butserfest. Their brand new EP 'Stand for Something' is available now from iTunes.
Fearless Vampire Killers have been making waves on the UK scene for a while. With strong visuals, a dedicated fanbase and a great live set we're looking forward to what these guys can bring to Butserfest.
After a very busy 2012, with appearances at R&L on the BBC Introducing Stage and numerous UK tours and great press, Reading boys Attention Thieves are on a roll and eager to show the Butserfest audience what they have to offer.
If you don't know much about Max Raptor you soon will. After a string of summer festival appearances in 2012, as well as a BBC Introducing slot at R&L, this year is looking just as busy. Plus they've got their debut album due for release at some point this year. Likened to bands like Billy Talent, Max Raptor deliver a powerful rock set that'll have all bouncing.
Guildford electro noize makers Subsource are a band we've wanted on the Butserfest billing since we first saw them play at Takedown Festival last year, so we're stoked to welcome them to our mainstage.

Glasgow metallers Bleed From Within have been named as headliners of the second stage at Butserfest 2013 on Saturday 14 September at Queen Elizabeth Country Park.

High profiles tours with bands like Architects and Your Demise, a handful of festival appearances, plus the release of their second studio album 'Old Lies for Young Lives' in April 2013, has seen Heights' profile hit the roof. And they're hitting ours in September.
'Exciting', 'fresh' and 'different' aren't words used to describe many new bands nowadays, but you can certainly apply them all to djent rap metallers Hacktivist.
Want some music with frenzied pace, attitude and fire? Liverpool's, Kerrang! Award nominated, alternative Math quintet Marmozets will deliver it by the shedload. Strap yourself in!
Subtle punk with slivers of more punk, topped with shavings of punk, and garnished with a touch of punk, all wrapped up in the sounds of the sea lapping Brighton's shores. Okay, the last bit was a tiny fib. Welcome Gnarwolves to our lineup. They're punk, yeah?
Victory Records' recently acquired Continents do Welsh hardcore at its best. There's no messing around with these fellas.
Cor Guildford's done some good things in its time, like Palm Reader. Frantic, in your face and loud, they're going to make you forget where you left your head. It's the truth, honest!
Having wowed on the main stage 2 years ago Southampton's The Valiant return to Butserfest. Blending splendid melodies with crushing choruses, it's straight up metalcore for the metalcore masses. Take a look at their video for 'Home of the Grave'

Still more bands are to be added to the festival lineup, with places for local bands on both stages.

Also on offer will be free activities including zorbing, bungee runs, laser quest and human demolition, with stalls from traders and local community groups.

Councillor Ferris Cowper, Leader of East Hampshire District Council and Butserfest founder said: ‘I've never seen Bleed From Within perform, but they’re playing at festivals all over Europe, touring with Megadeth and playing at Download in June so I’m expecting an awesome show.’
