Spectrum launches at The Electric in Brixton

There’s a new party in town… Pete Jordan’s underground powerhouse Spectrum has found a new London home at The Electric in Brixton – and is celebrating with an epic launch night!

This year Spectrum’s arrival on the London scene has stopped the scene in its tracks, with three sellout shows, and so much more to come in November and on New Year’s Eve – watch out London! And now Spectrum brings together a spectacular lineup for the launch on Saturday October 1st – a true sign of big things to come. These guys don’t do things by halves!

The Spectrum brand is quickly becoming one of the most influential in the capital, thanks to unique programming and all-out noise-making lineups; attracting some of the heaviest names in electronic music and bass culture, Spectrum demonstrates exactly why it is at the top of its game! Spectrum brings together a jaw-dropping mix of genres under one roof, sealing the deal with unparalleled production and sound, and now at its new London home, The Electric in Brixton, Spectrum is going bring London to its knees. BOOM!

On Saturday October 1st Spectrum will be heaving. Japanese Popstars play their live festival techno show, which has drawn parallels to Underworld and also helped land them a major deal and appearances at some of the world’s best festivals. Jakwob brings his pop-infused underground dubstep sound that’s so popular right now. And there’s another huge headline act to be announced – hold tight, London!

Still on a dubstep tip, Boregore’s high-impact DJ/MC set will go in deep, twisted and dark, while Bare Noize – a favourite of one of Spectrum’s previous guests, Skrillex – take bass heavier than so many dare to go. Together, these two are headliners in their own right!

Demonstrating Spectrum’s programming diversity, electro indie stars South Central make their first appearance at Spectrum, promising a rabble-rousing set. Spectrum daddy Pete Jordan – whose forthcoming remixes of Rocker’s Revenge ‘Walking on Sunshine’ and ‘Earth’ from Iceland’s Gus Gus drop soon – is no stranger to big event. And, under his guidance, Spectrum is going from strength to strength. Don’t miss his set!

The Electric’s second room pushes the bass-bins even closer to their limits, with dubstep hotshots Cookie Monsta and Torqux & Twist the highlight of another sonic journey.

Spectrum brings bass-led genre defying line-ups like no other! And its new home couldn’t be a better setting. The Electric is a new 1600-capacity live and club venue opening in the heart of Brixton at the site of famous venue The Fridge. After substantial investment and an overhaul, The Electric is set to host some of London’s best live and club events – including Spectrum. London club culture is going next level.
