The Secret Garden Party is very pleased to announce its second wave of artists for this summer’s Party. Air are now confirmed to headline, along with Caribou and Primal Scream, as previously announced.

French duo, Air, comprising Nicolas Godin and Jean-Benoit-Dunkel, are one of the most influential synth-pop bands of the 2000’s. Singles such as ‘Sexy Boy’ and ‘Surfing on a Rocket’ shaped the way for the current wave of atmospheric retro-synth soundscapes. Albums such as ‘Moon Safari’ and ‘Talkie Walkie,’their soundtrack for ‘The Virgin Suicides’ and their score to the 1902 classic silent film ‘le voyage dans la lune’ should prove to be a synergy made in heaven for this year’s Secret Garden Party’s arts & expression theme: ‘The Gardener’s Guide to the Galaxy.’
