LolliBop, in partnership with John Lewis, welcomed 30,000 mini revelers to Regent’s Park over what turned out to be the hottest weekend of the year so far.

Lollibop - Billed as The Big Bash for Little People, pint sized festival goers donned sun hats and enjoyed live performances by TV favourites Mister Maker, The ZingZillas, Dick and Dom and The Mr Men and Little Miss Party Roadshow.  Shrek the Musical also took time out from the West End to join the event.

Several celebrities were spotted enjoying the event with their families too, including Take That’s Mark Owen, Hot Fuzz star Simon Pegg, presenter Katy Hill and ex-EastEnder Natalie Cassidy with daughter Eliza.

Festival highlights, included Cbeebies favourites Alex Winters and Katy Ashworth, smash hit video game Skylanders Spyro’s Adventure’s Arena Tour, the Moshi Monster’s Mash Up Tournament, The Gruffalo and Halford’s Bike City.  Interactive workshops also kept kids entertained throughout the day with beat boxing and hula hopping classes, Science Museum Live, a LolliBop Kitchen and much more.

Festival Director Mel Wilds said: “We’d like to thank everyone to came to LolliBop and helped make it such a fantastic family event.  We’re busy planning a couple of mini LolliBop events between now and next summer – more details coming soon!”
