Laura Mvula

This summer season, acts from around the world will grace the Floating Stage at the glamorous, Henley Festival in partnership with BMW from 8th – 12th July. Now joining the line up on Friday 10th July will be the award winning British artist Laura Mv

Performing as part of the much anticipated ‘Who Got Rhythm! - A Gershwin Spectacular show alongside Gregory Porter, Laura is set to bring her inimitable style to the Banks of the River Thames for the first time. This eclectic evening of entertainment will follow the first headline artist to be announced, the international superstar Lionel Richie, who takes to the Floating Stage on Thursday 9th July. From the moment you enter our world, the fun-loving & quirky black tie festival presents a kaleidoscope of entertainment at every turn. Just 6,000 tickets are available for each evening.

By overwhelming popular demand a full orchestral, classical concert headlines the festival on Friday 10th July. Join us to celebrate the music of George Gershwin in the company of the full Philharmonia Orchestra in repertoire that includes Rhapsody in Blue, and lavish arrangements of songs including The Man I Love, Fascinating Rhythm, A Foggy Day in London Town – and I Got Rhythm. Conducted by Troy Miller and Fabio D’Andrea, the all-star cast includes vocal sensations Laura Mvula and Gregory Porter, superstar classical trumpeter Alison Balsom and Chinese wunderkind Ji Liu at the piano.

Join us for world-class music including a headline performance from soul legend Lionel Richie, witty comedy shows, art & sculpture, eclectic pop up dining, immersive street theatre and fireworks with a twist each evening. With so much to see and experience there’s no better place to spend a summer night than amongst the magic of Henley Festival.
