Boardmasters never fails to attract the biggest names in skateboard and BMX and this year will not disappoint!

Those familiar with the event will remember last year’s incredible set up and will be delighted to know Boardmasters will be providing the mini setup again including public open sessions and public jam competitions. Public Skate competitions will be taking place on Wednesday 7th from 11am at Fistral Beach with public BMX competitions take place on the Thursday with practice from 11am

From the PRO skateboard world you can expect to see the likes of Sam Pulley, Frank Faria, Ben Grove,James Threlfall, Adam Keys, Salar Kooshki, Isaac Maxwell amongst others. BMX enthusiasts can look forward to PROs including likes of Alex Coleborn, Tom Justice, Angus Gough, Anthony McGuirk, Luke Padgett and Tom Isted all competing for their share of the £10k prize pot.

For years now skating has been one of the main highlights of the Fistral Beach site, the competition always amassing a crowd. With the freedom to roll on the mini ramp, the stylish Boardmasters skaters take the competition to the limit, gapping and grinding to their heart's content. Whether you're new to the sport or a bonafide skate fan, the Fistral Beach skate competition is a must-see.

BMXing has been a massive part of the Boardmasters experience for years and with such a strong contingent of BMX talent in the South West, the turnout is always top-class. During the day the BMX athletes battle it out on our purpose built park to a backdrop of crashing waves and sun-drenched applause.  There's no need to purchase a ticket to watch any of the BMX or skate events, so head down to the Fistral Beach site in your own time and take in the athletic displays.
