Radioactive Man will also be joining the Glade line-up on the Bassment stage. He is renowned mainly for his partnership with Andrew Weatherall in The Two Lone Swordsman and is now focusing on his solo work and production partnership with Billy Nasty.

This year Glade’s central pyramid aka The Pyromid will be a stage in its own right… that is until it burns down on Sunday night in spectacular fashion. But before the visual pyrotechnics comes some musical crack bang wallop. In addition to the acts already announced for Friday andSaturday, the Pyromid will host an expansive line-up of underground electronica on Sunday.

Marcel Dettmann is a name synonymous with the German techno scene. Flying the flag for Berlin’s infamous Berghain nightclub and Ostgut Ton record label, Dettmann is well known for his uncompromising take on techno, both in production and DJing, championing a raw and authentic feel. From there we move to New York native Levon Vincent, who is electrifying the underground techno-house community, and one of the most sought after DJs at the moment (having recently compiled the much-lauded Fabric 63 mix). After rejuvenating the NYC scene, his sound has been much sought after in Europe and Glade is delighted to be bringing him to the Pyromid. From New York we head to Barnsley and Blawan, whose unique releases on Hessle Audio and R&S have made him a household name in the UK & Europe.

If you haven’t heard ‘Getting Me Down’ then you need to - it's one of the stand out tracks of last year, with percussive production that can move any dance floor. One half of the somewhat anonymous Sandwell District, Function brings his rich minimalistic sound to Glade, refreshing that classic techno sound to an army of new fans who enjoy the darkside. Heading back to Berlin, Panorama Bar resident Prosumer has put out some of the most essential slices of house & techno over the past few years - expect a healthy mix of Detroit and Chicago from his record bag. And last but by no means least, Irish techno wizard Space Dimension Controller, who's been steadily carving his sound since 2009, when he dropped two extended EPs on the already influential R&S Records, will be taking us through a spaced-out cosmic Detroit house trip.

Radioactive Man will also be joining the Glade line-up on the Bassment stage. He is renowned mainly for his partnership with Andrew Weatherall in The Two Lone Swordsman and is now focusing on his solo work and production partnership with Billy Nasty as RadioNasty.Tenniswood was first introduced to Weatherall during the early rave scene and from there Keith continued to work with other huge names in music including David Holmes, Beth Orton, The Aloof, Red Snapper, Primal Scream, Jon Carter and Barry Ashworth. Gladers can expect take-no prisoners beats and dirty post-punk rhythms, combining the best from the dance and rock worlds.

Also announced today is the TRACKITDOWN.NET DNB Showcase. The UK’s premier underground download store present a night of futuristic high tech drum & bass sounds featuring their favourite artists on the ones and twos. Covering all styles and sounds from electrifying neuro, through to bad boy jungle and scorching electro, this 7 hour session will hype up the whole site for the rest of the weekend and then some! TrackitDown will be taking over the iScream stage for one night only. Kitted out with a Funktion One sound system, Gladers can expect to see some of the most exciting artists in the UK DNB scene right now including Bladerunner, Intraspekt, Mob Tactics, Northern Lights, TC1, Zen & the TID DNB Crew’.

Behind the scenes the award-winning Secret Productions team (promoter of the year in the 2011 Festival Awards) will be taking care of the production and bringing that extra-special SGP twist to proceedings.  The Secret Garden Party crew will be throwing the mother of all woodland parties at Glade, where you can expect the unexpected and join in with the radical revelry starring SGP favourites including The Head Gardener, The Pagoda All Stars, Eddy Temple Morris, and as a special treat coming fresh and dusty from Burning Man- the HMS XS Heroes.

With an incredible site and ground breaking lineup over 14 stages, showcasing hundreds of DJs and live acts from around the globe, Glade 2012 is set to become the must-go-to festival for all lovers of underground electronic music. Completing the experience, Gladers can expect to see burning stages, walkabout performances, a stage in a 100ft crater, The Dance Off, Remix Roller Disco,Micro Rave, 3D sound systems, pop-up nano venues, underfloor bass arenas, Artful Badger, Feast of Fools, new Sanctuary area, Woodland parties, 24-hour venue license, Glastonbury’s Rabbit Hole and much more.
