Grammy-winning electro-pop act La Roux is announced this morning as the final show of 'UTB x5', a series of gigs marking the fifth anniversary of the launch of Under the Bridge.
Currently recording the follow up to 2014’s widely acclaimed Trouble In Paradise, La Roux makes a rare live appearance on Tuesday May 10th. This show offers fans the opportunity to catch the Brit and Mercury-nominated star up-close-and-personal in the intimate confines of Under the Bridge in West London.
This gig caps off a recent run of high profile shows at the venue, which included appearances from Lianne La Havas, Leon Bridges, Jack Garratt and Rodrigo y Gabriela.
La Roux performs on Tuesday May 10th and tickets (priced at £10) go on sale from www.DICE.fm this Friday April 29th at 10am. All proceeds go to the Musicians without Borders charity, which uses the power of music to bridge divides, connect communities, and heal the wounds of war.
During its short existence, Under the Bridge has established itself as one of the leading live music venues on the London circuit, having presented shows from some of the biggest acts in the world, won numerous industry awards, partnered with the likes of Channel 4, BBC Radio 2, Heart and XFM, hosted events for NME the MOBOs, the Classical BRITs and Q magazine and, perhaps most importantly, garnered the respect of the industry and built a reputation amongst bands and artists as one of the capital’s must-play venues.
