Following the night's sell-out success last month, and future dates already sold out, advance booking is highly recommended for Raiders Of The Last Tube
Raiders of The Last Tube is a pioneering new night exploring the benefits of gigging, dancing, eating and getting to bed on time. Check out some of the very best new bands and DJs once a month while enjoying London’s number one burger provided by MEATliquor.
Once upon a time no one noticed if you turned up to work sweating neat alcohol and smelling like the band's tour bus (who you saw last night) on a healthy 5 hours sleep. But being part of being a 'grown-up' doesn’t have to mean missing out on seeing the bands you love…
ROTLT brings you an uncannily pedestrian solution; the after work gig and disco. Direct from work you can stop off and see 2 bands, eat a tasty burger and have a dance. And not just any old bands; The Secret Garden Party's ‘Where the Wild Things Are’ stage and the Head Gardener will be curating the best new acts they can find. Our friends at MEATliquor will be cooking you London’s very best burger, and Nice Boy DJs (Early Doors Disco) and the Head Gardener will make sure you can’t stop moving until… 11.30pm when you are sent home before it’s too late.
Doors: 6.30pm
More Like Trees: 7.30pm
Forming in 2011 London based 3-piece More Like Trees have been creating quite a stir in the city and beyond with their toe-tapping beats and unique arrangements traversing flamenco, drum & bass, classical, hip hop, indie, dance and folk. Already picking up plaudits far and wide, MLT recently worked with MC Tali recording an acoustic reworking of her much-lauded album, Dark Days, High Nights.
Wildflowers: 8.30pm
Free wheeling folk outfit Wildflowers are an exciting prospect indeed. Fronted by sassy vocalist Siddy Bennett the band features her sister Kit on keys, ace slide guitarist James Ashbury, drummer Grant Kershaw and multi-instrumentalist Ben Johnsen. With their effortless groove, anthemic chorus lines and rich instrumentation Wildflowers are definitely ones to watch over the next twelve months.
Disco until 11.30pm
