Underage Festival 2012 Cancelled

Festival Crowd Header

Unforeseen circumstances with our site hire contract mean we are no longer able to meet production levels and we do not want to risk the safety and smooth running of an event for 13-18 year olds.

It is with great sadness that we announce Underage Festival will no longer be taking place this year on Friday 31st August.

Due to the Olympics we were forced into moving from our usual date and home in Victoria Park to a later date and new location in Shoreditch Park. Despite a positive start to the site move from Victoria Park and repeated assurances that production levels would be suitable for a festival of this kind, we now find ourselves in a situation where we have no choice but to cancel the event.

Unforeseen circumstances with our site hire contract mean we are no longer able to meet production levels and we do not want to risk the safety and smooth running of an event for 13-18 year olds.

After the amount of work we have put in over the last six years to make Underage Festival the successful event it is today, it is incredibly sad that we have to make this decision, and one that has not been made lightly. We would like to thank everyone that has been involved with the festival this year and supported us, from the artists to the production team, and would like to offer our apologies to those that have bought tickets. Full refunds for all ticketholders will be made at point of purchase. Please visit www.underagefestivals.com for full information.

We are already looking to 2013 when we will back in Victoria Park on our own terms once again and bigger and better than ever before.
