FeastyFest 2024

Festival Crowd Header

FeastyFest 2024 in Cheam made a triumphant return this year, transforming into a two-day event, giving attendees even more time to soak up the festivities. The extended schedule was a welcome change, allowing families, couples, and friends to fully enjoy everything on offer without feeling rushed. While the weather threatened to dampen spirits, the rain held off, and by Sunday, the sun made a glorious appearance, making for a perfect festival atmosphere.

FeastyFest has always been a family-friendly event, and this year continued that tradition. With attractions like the Big Tree Climbing Company and archery for kids, there was plenty to keep younger festival-goers entertained. It’s also great to see how accommodating the festival is for all ages, with areas for families with young children, space for couples to relax, and even a warm welcome for dogs.

The site itself saw some fantastic improvements, with better facilities and noticeably shorter queues. Whether grabbing food, drinks, or using the amenities, the festival felt more organized and efficient than in previous years, making the experience even more enjoyable.

Although the crowd was slightly smaller compared to previous years, the festival still maintained a lively and upbeat atmosphere. Here’s hoping for a bigger turnout next year, as FeastyFest continues to grow.

When it came to music, FeastyFest 2024 absolutely delivered. RPJ took center stage with an unforgettable performance that truly stole the show, energizing the crowd with their powerful presence. They weren't the only highlight, though—the Vengaboys brought a wave of nostalgia with their infectious ‘90s hits, while the Dolly Parton Experience had fans singing along to country classics. The House & Garage Orchestra kept the audience dancing with their slick beats, and the Official UK ACDC tribute rocked the stage with hard-hitting tunes. With a diverse lineup of other talented artists, the festival catered to every musical taste, creating a dynamic and engaging atmosphere throughout the weekend.

The food stalls were another highlight, offering an incredible variety of options. From traditional festival fare like burgers and fries to more adventurous dishes, there was something to satisfy every craving. The wide range of food vendors meant there were no long waits, and festival-goers could sample different cuisines without hassle.

In a time of rising costs, it’s refreshing that FeastyFest remains affordable and continues to offer fantastic value for money. Whether you're there for the music, the food, or just to enjoy a day out with the family, the event provides a full experience without breaking the bank.

One of the most exciting new additions this year was the wrestling performance, which proved to be a crowd favorite. This high-energy event added a new layer of entertainment to the festival, drawing in both adults and children alike and providing a fun break from the music.

All in all, FeastyFest 2024 was a fantastic weekend, packed with great music, delicious food, and family-friendly activities. The improved facilities, affordable pricing, and diverse entertainment options made it a memorable experience for all who attended. Let’s hope for even bigger crowds next year, as FeastyFest continues to go from strength to strength!
